CCTV Witness

When a dispute happens, end it with evidence instead of argument.

CCTV Witness is a neutral, always-on record of what happened at your counter, your handover point and your cash desk. It seals each clip so nobody — not staff, not customers, not even you — can change it after the fact. When something goes wrong, you get a timestamped answer you can trust.

Three questions it answers for you

Not footage you scroll through for hours. A witness that speaks only when it matters.

1

Did the handover happen?

A runner says he gave the order. The customer says he never got it. The witness shows the moment the plate left the counter.

2

Is the record complete?

Every saved clip is sealed with a timestamp and a tamper-check. If a camera was blocked or dark, the system says so — it never pretends to know.

3

Does it match your billing?

Only after the video is frozen does the system compare it with your POS and runner records. You see corroborated, conflict, or unknown — never a guess.

No more "he said, she said" at the end of a shift.

The problem with ordinary CCTV

What makes it a witness, not just a camera

What you see when something happens

1 · The moment is captured automatically

When an order is handed over, the witness records a burst from before the handover to after the customer receives it. You do not ask anyone to press a button.

2 · The packet tells you what can be trusted

Each event comes with the order reference, the exact time, the camera coverage state, and a seal that proves the clip has not changed since it was stored.

3 · Video and billing are compared only after sealing

The witness does not know the bill until the clip is locked. Then it reports whether the visible evidence agrees with your POS and runner records.

The examples above explain how evidence is reviewed. Current outlet operation and a complete video-to-billing reconciliation at Nawabi Chai House are not verified.

Common questions

Can it identify a customer or staff member by face?
No. Identity comes from your scanner, runner band or POS assignment. The witness only confirms that a person was present in a covered zone at a given time.
Can it count exact plates or money?
Exact quantity and money come from your billing system and physical count-preserving gates. The witness gives visual corroboration only, and says unknown when it cannot see clearly.
What happens if a camera goes down?
A camera outage is recorded as a source incident. It does not create blame, deduct a runner, or invent a story. Anything that happened during the outage is marked unknown.
Can the video be deleted or changed?
Once an event is sealed, a tamper-check is stored outside your premises. If the clip is changed, the seal breaks and the system reports it.
Do I need your POS or runner system?
It works best when joined with SparkSol Billing and Runner System, but the witness layer stays independent. It can also watch handovers and counters on its own.
Who can view the evidence?
Only authorised managers can open sealed event packets. Every view is logged, so the evidence trail stays clean.
